Pale gold in colour with green highlights.
A first nose of white peach and fresh herbs gives way, with air, to star anise and citrus.
The palate is sapid, ample and generous, marked by anise and white peach, with a saline finish.
A white Bandol of lovely substance and unexpected tension — the mark of a well-present acidity.

Grape Clairette 56%, Ugni Blanc 26%, Bourboulenc 14%, Rolle (Vermentino) 4%.
Ageing Aged in concrete tank.
Harvest Hand-harvested.

2024 vintage.

Moderate winter rainfall, heavy in spring. A dry, warm summer with wide day-night temperature swings that preserved the freshness of the aromas and the acidity.

Harvest from late August to 19 September. Perfect health, beautiful ripeness.

Very fine rosés carrying the power of Mourvèdre, on fresh citrus and white fruit. Reds with lovely juicy fruit and fine acidity. The whites benefited from the cool nights, with aroma precursors preserved.

What the critics say

Decanter

"Aromas of soft caramel and blue violet, with a touch of acacia blossom. A structured, mineral wine with notes of baked pear, pineapple and delicate spice. Bright lavender lifts, lovely richness of texture and a balanced, lingering finish. May 2025"

Wine Advocate

"With its delicately honeyed, ripe notes, the 2020 Bandol Blanc shows the most generous side of the appellation's whites. Ample and enveloping, it offers a silky texture without ever seeming heavy. Drink it young, while its opulence is in full voice."

Jeb Dunnuck

"Well structured and well made, the 2020 Bandol Blanc unfolds gradually, on a marked minerality with candied citrus and black truffle. This is a fine, fleshy white in the southern style, moving through salinity, minerality and even iodine notes. At the table it is a fine match for generous, characterful, spiced dishes. Drink now through 2030."
